FileMenu Tools 6.3 DC 01.12.2012 + Portable
In the battle for increased efficiency and functionality, people turn their hand to maximizing even the most basic computer features. Take the context menu, for example. When you right click on almost anything, a menu appears. On computers without many programs installed, it's likely to be a small list. As you install more and more applications, you'll notice that some of them add functions to these menus - something that I always see as a positive when writing reviews.

FileMenu Tools takes this premise a little further, adding a whole sub-list of functions to the context menu. You'll be able to carry out almost any action just by right-clicking: in addition to the long default list of functions, FileMenu Tools also allows you to create your own. These default options range from copying, moving and deleting, to changing the file's attributes and emailing to a third party.

Some of the FileMenu Tools options require some extra interaction with the program, when renaming files for example, and if you want to do some serious reconfiguration or add your own commands, you'll have to open the main FileMenu Tools window. Here you can alter any of the pre-selected options, removing the ones you don't use, re-ordering them and creating submenus and separators. Adding your own commands to FileMenu Tools is a little more complicated, but there is a good help file you move on to more advanced functions
